Eric Franz

Eric joined Crossroads Real Estate Group in 2022 after an eight-year tenure with commercial real estate giant CBRE.

Specializing in both tenant and landlord representation, Eric has successfully handled market rollouts for various national tenants along with advising some of Kansas City’s most prominent Landlord’s with their local portfolios. Throughout his career, Eric has mastered the site selection process, helping devise comprehensive market plans and navigating the nuances of the leasing and acquisition lifecycle. He is proud to have worked with notable brands such as F45 Training, Crisp & Green, JINYA Ramen Bar, Penn Station Subs, Face Foundrie, and others.

In addition to Eric’s tenant representation work, he has been intimately involved with lease-up strategies for local and institutional Landlords. He diligently deploys his industry knowledge to help identify best-in-class retailers and drive value for his landlord clients. Eric has been a trusted advisor for a long list of investors including, but not limited to, Crow Holdings, Necessity Retail REIT, Rainier Companies, and Westwood Financial. His breadth of experience also expands to land deposition and ground-up development projects, identifying highest and best use developers and tenants.

Eric grew up in Lawrence, KS and graduated from the University of Kansas in 2013. He’s married to Rebecca Franz and has one daughter, Ainsley. Eric enjoys Kansas basketball, playing the drums, and spending time outdoors.
