Crossroads Real Estate's Lowe strives to be 'the bridge between communities'

What started as an internship for Charlie Lowe became a gateway to finding his purpose in Kansas City.

Raised in an academically minded household in Maryville, Missouri, Lowe initially saw his stint at Kansas City-based Legacy Development as filling the gap between undergrad and pursuing a master's degree.

He never went back for that second degree. He now works as managing partner of Crossroads Real Estate Group, where he fills the gap he saw in broker services.

Lowe handles transactions involving 2,000-square-foot spaces or less with tenants who sign only five-year leases. He also works with small business owners of color, in addition to having a more typical repertoire of multimillion-dollar deals.
